Growing up in Taiwan, Jeff was exposed to Asian food through his family’s restaurants. He developed his talent as a restaurant manager and designer, and his career has taken him from Taiwan to Texas to Mexico and China. By 1999, his passion for food led this self-taught chef to open the Euro-Asian restaurant Bistro 88. Within the first few months, it was proclaimed one of the best restaurants in Austin.
